Portrait of a glasshouse

When Brand Etc took on managing Glasshouse Candles they approached A Newer Now to create three different series of white label content to use across both Glasshouse and Brand Etc social platforms to promote the brand. The brief was to highlight the premium nature of these hand poured candles in their iconic glass blown vessels whilst celebrating the vibrancy of the countries the scents were inspired by.

A.N.  N. responded to this brief with three different approaches for the scents of Persia, Monte Carlo, Oahu and Coney Island.. The first: Pop Art. What better way to celebrate an iconic candle shape than further emphasizing it as an object of desire?

The second was Postcards: From where you'd rather be'. Using the names of the candles as the inspiration each candle was photographed with its namesake location featuring in the backdrop. The setting was represented on crumpled, twisted, folded backdrops and the candle positioned center stage.

The third: Aromas. Taking inspiration from the city of the candle as well as the key notes within the scents. Each candle was photographed elevated on a pedestal among props that represented their namesake as well as the fragrances.
