A.N. N. responded to this brief with three different approaches for the scents of Persia, Monte Carlo, Oahu and Coney Island. The three directions explored were Pop Art, Postcards From Where You’d Rather Be and Aromas. We created backdrops and props to bring these visuals to life.

Pop Art
What better way to celebrate an iconic candle shape than further emphasising it as an object of desire? By taking inspiration from Andy Warhol pop art and juxtaposing each scent with a duo of colours.
Postcards
The still life campaign, Postcards from where you’d rather be, played on the locations the names the candles represented as inspiration. Each candle was shot with its namesake location featuring in the imagery. We created sets with the location represented on crumpled, twisted, folded backdrops and the candle was positioned centerstage in the composition.
Aromas
For this narrative each candle was elevated on a pedestal amongst sets we created that represented the key notes within the scents and their namesake cities.
